How we make the perfect cappuccino
If there is one thing we are good at in our ‘Volkscafé’, it’s making unbelievably good coffee. Not to boast, but we have also mastered the perfect cappuccino down to a T.
We don’t like to give all of our secrets away…but we will let you in on how we make our perfect cappuccino.
- We start off by foaming our required quantity of milk and make sure that there is more foamed milk than steamed milk.
- In our environment friendly coffee cups, we brew a single or double espresso shot (depending on how tired you’re feeling!).
- We have now prepared the coffee and with the milk in hand, we like to gently swirl it around in order to get rid of any large air bubbles.
- We do a little tap with our milk to make sure all bubbles have popped off and slowly pour it into the espresso at a low height to create that smooth texture in our signature coffees.
- Volkscafe’s speciality is the cappuccino finish, our little wiggle and a specially crafted eye, we finish off each drink with our own unique pattern.
- It wouldn’t be a Volkscafé cappuccino if it wasn’t delicately finished off with a sprinkle of choc. Our idea of perfection.
